Urgently hiring a Warehouse Technician in our SD office! The Warehouse Technician is responsible for overseeing fleet and maintenance, cleaning equipment, scheduling repairs, and maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness.
This role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and supports them as needed.
Superior Responsibilities :
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of fleet vehicles, including scheduling routine services and repairs.
- Clean and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring that all tools are in working order.
- Perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, ensuring supplies are well-organized and the environment is safe.
- Assist technicians in the morning by preparing equipment and ensuring they have the necessary tools and supplies.
- Track and manage warehouse inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report any safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Superior Requirements :
- Valid Driver License
- Previous experience in warehouse or maintenance roles preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills for performing repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and willingness to undergo training.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Great communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in a warehouse setting.
Compensation : 22.00-25.00 hourly
