Optical Lab Technician
Shift : 2nd Shift
Hours : Monday 3 : 00 PM - 1 : 00 AM; Tuesday - Thursday 3 : 30 PM - 1 : 00 AM; Friday 3 : 30 PM - 7 : 30 PM (Overtime Required)
Pay Rate : $15.50 per hour
Location : St. Petersburg, FL

What You’ll Do :
You’ll have the opportunity to focus on one of several key areas, with cross-training available :
- Surfacing : Operate automated machines like tapering and polishing to craft precision lenses.
- Coating : Conduct inspections, clean lenses, and operate sandblasting equipment.
- Finishing : Match lenses with frames, prepare for coatings, and apply tints accurately.
General Responsibilities :
- Follow work instructions and inspire your teammates to do the same.
- Communicate any maintenance issues and complete equipment setup.
- Identify quality or workflow problems and promptly inform your Supervisor.
- Maintain a positive attitude and uphold a respectful work environment.
- Keep your workspace clean and safe, alerting your Supervisor of any hazards.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
