DEPARTMENT : Parks and Recreation
EXPECTED HOURS : 20 to 35 hours / week
DURATION OF POSITION : Academic School Year
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts training and employee orientation as required.
- Supervise adult and youth food program staff.
- Identifies, addresses, and corrects compliance expectations.
- Responsible for assuring the overall compliance of the program.
- Keeps accurate accounting records of all delivered meals.
- Reconciles and records related discrepancies.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 4 years of experience in relevant areas.
- 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience required with good knowledge of effective supervisory techniques and practices.
- Familiarity of modern office practices and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math computations.
- Ability to navigate utilizing a map and / or GPS.
- Able to work under stressful conditions and meet strict deadlines.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Normal office environment.
- Frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
Must pass a criminal background investigation and pre-employment physical.
City residency required within six months of employment.
