Senior Java Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and play a key role in shaping technical solutions for complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications with strong focus on performance and scalability.

Work with product owners, architects, and other developers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components.

Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications in production.

Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI / CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

Strong expertise in Java 8 / 11+ , Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data), and Hibernate / JPA.

Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).

Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Experience with version control (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js).

Experience with distributed systems, caching frameworks (Redis), and performance tuning.

Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
