We are a locally owned building material supplier specializing in sales of outdoor living projects primarily to contractors.

We are looking for a person who enjoys an office work environment, yet would be comfortable outdoors in the lumberyard. When leads come in, it would be this individual's duty to disperse them to the sales team, in addition to greeting customers and processing paperwork ie : quotes, sales orders, invoices, dispatch docs, etc.

We create an ideal environment for a new or beginning salesperson to learn the business and sell at our organization.

Candidate Qualifications :

  • an interest in developing sales skills and becoming a sales professional
  • Self Starter highly motivated to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • thorough and detail oriented
  • enjoy interacting with people ie : customers, vendors and co-workers
  • teachable and able to listen well
  • familiar and comfortable with computers and technology
  • excellent communication, analytical and computation skills
  • professional appearance
  • must possess a valid CO drivers license

Candidate Responsibilities :

  • maintain a professional and friendly demeanor
  • communicate clearly, concisely and promptly
  • facilitate sales to existing and new customers at the yard
  • Quote prices, explain credit terms, and enter customer orders
  • identify decision makers within an organization and qualify potential new customers
  • document all pertinent customer information and conversations
  • develop leads into quotes and manage quotes through the closing and buying process
  • educate customers or customer's clients with informational materials and product walk-throughs emphasizing salable features
  • coordinate customer pick ups with the warehouse
  • follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time with all items accounted for
  • investigate and resolve customer problems concerning deliveries, credits, products, payables, etc.
  • work with outside sales reps to maintain account activities
  • attend weekly meeting held internally
