Key Responsibilities of the RN – Operating Room :

Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for surgical procedures.

Provide direct care to patients before, during, and after surgery.

Assist surgeons with instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.

Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition intraoperatively.

Uphold strict infection control and patient safety protocols.

Accurately document patient information and collaborate with the surgical team.

Requirements :

Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state eligibility).

Minimum of 1–2 years recent Operating Room nursing experience.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
