Inside Sales Manager

Marketing and Sales Irving, Texas Minimum Experience Experienced SUMMARY

Accountable for managing the quoting and order intake of channel partners (OEM, Integrator, MROs, Airlines, Representatives and End Users) of Flight Data Systems and FreeFlight Systems products and service offerings.

The Inside Sales Manager will work closely with the Aera Sales Managers, Technical Support, and Operations to ensure timely quoting to customers, entering of orders, management of backlog for timely delivery of customer products & services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing incoming customer requests to include but not limited to Hubspot, generic sales email queries, main sales telephone line and other social media queries and order support utilizing company CRM (Saleforce / B365) and ERP (Syteline, MRP).
  • Quoting customer RFPs & RFQs
  • Managing incoming POs and contract updates
  • Managing all OEM supplier portals, such as Exostar, for incoming POs, RFQs and yearly audit forms
  • Dealer portal and account inquiries
  • Maintain viable long-term relationships with customers across the various channels (OEM, Airlines, Integrators, Military Services, Dealers, and Suppliers)
  • Provide assistance to external sales team, follow-up, and all steps from the point of sale to the delivery of the product which include providing market research from services, such as Jetnet sales data, market trends, account analyses and new product information
  • Responsible for managing Salesforce data and analytics
  • Creating and producing company reports that track all company sales goals; overall sales, quotes, revenue, and forecast statistics.

This includes managing and publishing the Sales team monthly / quarterly KPIs

  • Responsible for maintaining product and services internal / external catalog which includes the update, financial analysis and working with the executive team for final approval of annual catalog.
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising;

maintain research databases

  • Continuous improvement projects as assigned
  • Minimum travel to support industry tradeshows and events, and other customer / dealer meetings as needed
  • Will be periodically required to perform other duties as directed and assigned

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or 1 2 years related work experience in sales or business development within the aerospace / avionics industry;

or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pilots license preferred but not required.

The applicant must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently. Qualified candidates should be able to speak effectively to customers about company products and how they perform.

The applicant must possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondences.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Candidates must have a strong command of computer desktop tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) to assist in completing essential duties.

Effectively demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Salesforce experience is required. Syteline experience is preferred but not required.
