About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join our inpatient hospital services team in Petoskey, MI.
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with no call or weekend duties, providing a balanced work-life schedule.
This role is ideal for a Physician Assistant looking for a structured work week without the demands of night or weekend shifts.
In this role, you will be providing comprehensive care to adult inpatients, excluding those in the ICU / CCU. The average patient census over the last six months is 86, with approximately 22 admissions per day.
Requirements :
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Active and unrestricted Michigan state license
- Strong clinical skills in internal medicine and adult inpatient care
- Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner Powerchart
