Vice President of Operations Benefits :

Vice President of Operations Responsibilities :
- You will train and improve functions of the assigned hotels under the policies and practices of the company while improving guest satisfaction, employee morale, targeted profitability, and complying with federal and state regulations and brand requirements
- The Vice President of Operations role is to provide leadership, training, supervision, and support to the hotels they are assigned, making measurable improvements during the assignment
- Conduct weekly calls with hotels to follow up on action plans, open positions, staffing levels, SALT / guest service scores, and any other items as directed by the company Principals
- VPO will provide oversight of any capital improvement projects (PIP, Refresh, Renovations, etc..) as directed by the CEO and company President
- Conduct reviews and provide performance feedback as needed

- Problem-solving and Decision-making Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; obtaining and comparing information from different sources to draw conclusions, developing and evaluating alternatives and solutions, solving problems, and choosing a course of action
- Communication Conveying information and ideas to others in a convincing and engaging manner through a variety of methods.
Strong public presentation skills
- Adaptability Maintaining performance level under pressure or when experiencing changes or challenges in the workplace
- Prepare and control annual revenue and expense budget with department heads
- Analyze profit and loss statements. Bring line items within budget by making all necessary corrections to operational procedures
- Ensure proper selection, training, motivation, and counseling of all Employees
- Ensure professional, positive employee attitude and attentiveness
- Ensure optimum revenue for the property by reviewing reports, and coaching staff on changes in revenue strategies. Review all Sales calls, reports, etc.
with DOS. Review and approve preferred rates with the DOS regularly
- Be able to work independently; pay attention to detail; excellent communication skills
- Each associate is expected to complete, within their ability, all reasonable requests by management
Vice President of Operations Qualifications :
- A hands-on Leader who is comfortable in the Boardroom presenting to Ownership / Investment Group Executives and working directly with Hotel Managers
- Hotel Management minimum 10 years (must have General Manager experience)
- Major brand experience (Marriott, IHG, Hilton, Hyatt)
- Experience in leading as many as 6 Hotels at a time
- Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management experience
- Full-service and Select-service experience
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
