Join a rapidly growing Cardiac Surgery Program at a respected Trauma Level II hospital in Mason City, IA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist to contribute to a high-impact, evolving program with a newly stabilized cardiac team.

Position Highlights :

Setting : Hospital-based (occasional ASC coverage if needed)

Cardiac Surgeries : Avg. 1 per day (not daily); 90 open heart cases projected annually

Other Cases : 5 7 general surgical cases / day (required when no cardiac cases)

Operating Rooms : 8 ORs running concurrently

EMR : Cerner (transitioning to EPIC) + some paper charting

Staff Model : Solo practice with CRNA students occasionally rotating in OR

Candidate Requirements :

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (Cardiac BC preferred)

Active Iowa license or IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)

TEE Certified Must independently read, interpret & bill for TEE procedures

Cardiac Fellowship Preferred or extensive cardiac experience with TEE competency

Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, PALS
