Homecare Scheduling Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scheduling Supervisor to oversee the scheduling operations of our home care office located in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various healthcare settings, namely home care or home health. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to manage a diverse team while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise daily scheduling operations of the home care facility, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered.

Oversee scheduling staff , including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Assists human resources in compliance of staff credentials

Train all new scheduling coordinators

Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations.

Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR / EHR systems.

Facilitate communication between patients and families.

Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices.

Monitors cases to ensure proper level of care

Oversee all scheduling operations of office location

Perform other administrative functions to support other departments and / or management

Job Requirements

Minimum one year healthcare management / supervisory experience

Ability to pass a level 2 background

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Homecare or home health scheduling experience
