Our client
is a global manufacturing firm who services industries from automotive and aerospace, to food and beverage, and is actively seeking to hire a Logistics Manager.
This person will be integral in the global growth of new market segments and patented technologies.
Main duties of the Logistics Manager include :
- Directly leading a small team of Shipping / Inventory Coordinators
- Aid in the overall logistical growth of new product lines- into new countries
- Strategically identify ways to improve global inventory numbers
- Identify and source new international shipping / receiving sources
- Ensure shipments adhere to strict HAZMAT and hazardous material regulations
- Work directly with key customers to ensure 100% logistical satisfaction
Qualifications for the Logistics Manager position include :
- BS degree in Supply Chain, Materials or something similar
- Strong experience with international shipping
- Exceptional leadership and communications / customer support skills
- Experience with improving inventory
- Ability to travel overseas, only 10%
