Asset Protection Associate - Part Time - open availability

Position SummaryPart Time - open availabilityWorking in the distribution center and retail store environments, the Asset Protection Associate will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the company premises and personnel, interior and exterior of the assigned location, and, as needed, supporting asset protection needs of the retail locations supported by the assigned distribution center.

Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.Secures premises and personnel by patrolling propertyPrevents losses and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstancesConfronts violators of policy and procedures in a professional manner to redirect behaviorInspects buildings and access pointsAssists Supervisor in restraining trespassers or other violatorsManages vehicular traffic by directing driversMaintains authorized DC truck yard traffic utilizing company tools and proceduresSupports investigations, conducting surveillances and gathering of factsCompletes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activitiesMaintains organization's stability and brand reputation by complying with legal requirementsContributes to Inventory / Asset Protection team effort by accomplishing results as neededPromotes awareness of company policies, procedures and directivesSubmits new and innovative ideas to enhance job functions and company best practicesProvide assistance across business groups as neededQualificationsEducation / Experience :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two or more years of related security experience. Proven knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Prior security experience in retail or distribution centers is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Computer Skills :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook. Report Writing experience is preferred.

Position Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to : applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.

Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation : $16.50 - $21.45Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
