The Job :

As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll be part of our Farm & Hardware Outdoor team working as a virtual employee. You’ll get to :

  • Manage, lead, and set the strategic vision for all Outdoor products at Farm & Hardware customer locations in the region to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Responsible for the region’s Outdoor sales growth, profitability, listings, conversions, and market share acceleration.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan by effectively utilizing marketing programs, leveraging field resources, product training, event marketing, and outside sales activities.
  • Establish relationships with top accounts and key personnel. Regularly call on key / targeted dealers and marketing groups within the region.
  • Drive sell-through across all SBDK brands and strategic business units.
  • Provide support to dealers on product knowledge, end-user work, event marketing, and merchandising.
  • Maximize digital acceleration via Salesforce, Showpad, and Business Warehouse to drive efficiencies and transformation.
  • Effectively manage budgets (T&E, Targeted Funds, Demo Tool, etc.) to drive profitability within Farm and Hardware (formerly 2 Step).
  • Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to management and marketing. Reporting on results and activities within the region.
  • Travel both in and out of state up to 50% of the time.

  • Understanding and knowledge of IT Business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Prior proven experience with applying strong product and market knowledge to drive sales and share gain.
  • Prior experience with outdoor seasonal products (sales cycle, forecasting, etc.) is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience servicing retailers sourcing through wholesale / co-op; outdoor power equipment preferred.
