Junior Business Analyst

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Business Analyst to guide projects using agile methodologies and drive successful project execution.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the software development lifecycle and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with software engineers and business leaders.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will have the unique opportunity to work on ambitious projects and contribute to the development of high-quality solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage with business teams and functional experts to understand and capture the current state process flow and business requirements.
- Take a hands-on role in the creation and maintenance of critical project artifacts, including business requirements, system specifications, process flows, and test / use case scripts.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify future state process flows and requirements that meet project objectives and strategic goals.
- Extract, arrange, and examine data sets to detect anomalies, discern patterns, and evaluate their impact on project objectives.
- Present analysis findings to senior executives from the business and steering committees.
- Maintain clear communication within the project team and with external parties involved.
Qualifications & Experience
- 0-2+ years of experience in a business analysis or a related technical role.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with Jira for project tracking, SQL for database management, Power BI for data visualization, and Python for scripting and automation.
- Strong proficiency in managing and examining complex data sets.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and ability to effectively work with others involved.
- A forward-thinking approach that values continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends.

Pay Range
$85,000 - $100,000
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
