An established medical device company are looking for a Territory Manager with a background in medical device sales to join them in the Sacramento area.

The Medical Device Company :

This is a leading medical device company with circa 2,500 employees globally. Their devices are rooted in a number of healthcare establishments, inclusive of hospitals, medical education institutes, universities and service institutions to ensure that frontline nurse practitioners, trainee medics and service men & women are providing their respiratory patients with the absolute best (often emergency) care possible.

Territory Manager Role Overview :

In this role, you will play a key part in building and managing relationships with channel partners and customers in the region. Youll focus on driving growth through distribution channels, promoting new subscription technologies and platform solutions, and ensuring the successful adoption of new products in emergency medical services (EMS) and respiratory spaces. This position requires a consultative sales approach, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Summary :

  • Demonstrates effective territory management, including achieving minimum weekly sales call targets, leveraging organizational / planning skills and CRM and territory landscape to establish call plans.
  • Grow sales and market share by identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities.
  • Build lasting partnerships with customers and connect them to the right resources.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including on-site and virtual events, product showcases, and distributor national sales meetings.
  • Sell complete solutions, including programs, services and products to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and strategic partners to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Track performance, forecast opportunities, and create action plans to meet goals.

Required Experience :

  • 4+ years successful sales experience within a medical device or medical education setting, ideally with experience selling software / digital solution also.
  • Excellent territory planning skills and a results-oriented approach.
  • Can demonstrate a solution-oriented sales approach, working closely with prospective and brand-new clients.
  • A strong work ethic, team player mindset and an openness to always learning new methodologies and adapting to new sales approaches.
  • Fluent in English with excellent oral, written and presentation skills to ensure seamless communication.
  • Ability to travel (up to 50% of the time) and possesses a valid drivers license.
