B. Riley Advisory Services works with lenders, law firms, private equity sponsors and companies of all types. Our Advisory Services are a unique mix of Lending Appraisal Services, Financial Reporting including Due Diligence and Quality of Earnings, Tax Valuations, Operational & Financial Restructuring and Turnaround Management, and Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support.

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator for our Chicago IL , Boston MA, or Los Angeles CA office.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Being a co-owner of the overall strategic sales plan with Sr. Executive team
  • Communicating sales plans to executive team that support each salespersons goals and YTD progress.
  • Communicating action plans with each salesperson on a weekly / bi-weekly basis.
  • Producing daily / weekly / monthly direct sales activity plans.
  • Ensuring each employee with direct sales responsibilities receives, understands, and executes on their weekly calling plan
  • Holding each salesperson accountable for executing on the direct outreach activity.
  • Accurate and reliable sales event data inputs in the CRM
  • Providing proof of activity through CRM inputs and reports from and for each sales employee.
  • Create pitch decks with relevant experience in a timely manner.
  • Subscribe to major publications to stay in-the-know on recent business transactions and provide relevant news to the appropriate persons.

Education, Experience, and Skills :

  • Ideal candidate is a self-starter, someone who can operate without much oversight, with a drive to increase sales activity.
  • 3-5+ years Sales experience is preferable.
  • Excellent understanding of our products and services, preferably with background in financial reporting.
  • Excellent written and communication skills with ability to create draft presentations and proposals.
  • Handle multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and a professional presence.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and VERY proactive.
  • Strong typing and computer skills a MUST. Proficient in (any) major sales force automation software platform(s), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, email correspondences and Internet searches.
