La Lucha is seeking for a high energy Sous Chef to join our dynamic team!
The Sous Chef manages the hourly, back-of-house staff and assists in the day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen including production, prep, special and private events, stewarding, purchasing and receiving.
He / she will have a strong understanding and knowledge of various cooking methods and preparation techniques, ensuring all food is properly prepared and presented to guests in a timely manner.
The Sous Chef will be able to effectively and professionally lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with the drive and ability to maintain a cohesive team, while efficiently delegating and working calmly under pressure.
3-years of progressive culinary experience preferred, one of which in a Lead Cook or Sous Chef position. Apply today and become part of a dynamic, innovative, and heartfelt group of unique individuals!
Competitive salary : $55,000 $65,000 / yr. DOE + generous quarterly bonus program
