PRO-Telligent, A Tetra Tech Company, needs an Inspector / Quality Control Manager in Bangkok, Thailand for construction of New US Embassy Office Annex and Embassy Upgrade with State Dept.

Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance. This is an active position, not a proposal and you will be joining the team already on the ground.

The Project

$400M Design / Build New Office Annex (NOX) and Embassy Upgrade New 14-story Office Annex (NOX) will be comprised of tiered glass volumes covered in slats in order to mitigate Bangkok's hot and humid climate while maintaining views of the landscape.

39 bed Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR) CACs (Consular and Pedestrian) 2-story Utility Building and 365 vehicle surface parking Upgrades and site improvements include : CACs (main and service), new glazing, new doors, and interior finishing Internal perimeter walls and landscaping

  • We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year and the project is expected to last 36 months, so that length of employment is available.
  • Housing and transportation allowances provided.
  • Uplift includes 10% of base salary plus 10% COLA.
  • Benefits include (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, round trip flights home)

Position Description

You will :

  • Provide project management oversight of work of OBO project office in planning, coordinating, evaluating, and scheduling to ensure that construction contractor meets OBO required standards of quality, schedule, cost, and contract compliance.
  • Perform wide variety of functions associated with conduct of construction operations.
  • Assume prime responsibility for project's Quality Assurance (QA) Program.
  • Review and provide recommendations for approving contractor's Quality Control (QC) Program and maintain a Non-Conformance Register.
  • Develop and maintain a QA Inspection and Testing Log.

Requirements

  • US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
  • US Associates Degree in any discipline
  • 7 years construction experience
  • Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Three Phase Inspection Process
