Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

1 Year Contract

$65 / hr. W2

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Temporary Quality Engineer to join our team during the implementation of our new Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This role is crucial in ensuring that all quality operations are seamlessly integrated with the new MES software. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Quality Engineering, particularly in Production Support, and a strong background in MES implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the impact of MES implementation on quality operations.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of documentation for all quality operations affected by the MES transition.
  • Develop and route Document Change Orders (DCOs) to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Provide support and expertise in troubleshooting and resolving quality-related issues during the MES implementation.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on new quality processes and procedures related to the MES.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry regulations.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of MES implementation and its impact on quality operations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in Production Support within the medical device industry.
  • Proven experience with MES implementation, specifically Critical Manufacturing's MES software.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements in the medical device industry.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or related certifications.
  • Experience with other MES software systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

    Pay : $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
