Warehouse / Material Handler
Summary :
The daily routine involves setting up master reels of electrical cable, then cutting lengths per work order requests / pick tickets.
This involves heavy lifting, bending, & kneeling. Finished work orders will either be shipped (FedEx Ground / Freight) or placed in Will Call.
This warehouse focuses on teamwork and a respective culture.
Duties :
- Cut wires & cable per customer orders - must be accurate!
- Move material around warehouse
- Collect needed stock
- Run cutting machine
- Package orders
- Process orders for shipping
- Updating information and printing labels in computer
- Other duties as needed
Experience, Knowledge & Skills :
- Will train on most items but need to be mechanically inclined and have the knowledge to measure accurately up to 1 / 16"
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend & twist for entire shift
- Decent computer skills
- Dependable
Schedule :
Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, overtime possible
Pay : $18.29 per hour
