Additional Information About the Role BJC Medical Group is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our growing practice based at Progress West Hospital in St.

Charles County, Missouri. BJC Medical Group has over 600 providers and serves thousands of patients every day across Missouri and Illinois.

Peters Hospital Ample support staff including Practice Managers, MA's, Medical Secretaries and RN Be busy from the start with a large primary care referral base General GI with Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities plus blocked time in the GI lab Anticipate 1-2 days in the clinic and at least 3 or more days in the lab Established providers see 12-15 patients in the clinic and perform 10-12 scopes per day Based at Progress West Hospital during the week Shared weekend call of 1 : 5 with nearby Barnes-Jewish St.

Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws. Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service.

Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
