Stone Interiors, a highly respected countertop fabricator specializing in granite, marble, and quartz, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team.
Currently, we are looking for Wearhouse Associates with an exceptional work ethic who want to learn and grow with our dynamic company.
Experience is a plus but not required.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES :
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse to ensure efficient space utilization and good housekeeping
- Operate a forklift, loading, and unloading stone slabs (Marble, Quartz, Granite Etc.)
- Inspect equipment, issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement as needed
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by monitoring safety and security protocols
- Oversee general upkeep of the building and grounds
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Ability to obtain client forklift certification
- Comfort utilizing computer systems and capable of learning and utilizing client operating systems
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
- Ability to safely maneuver self around the warehouse, transport materials, and stock shelves
- Ability to lift and / or carry 50+ lbs. Ability to bend and / or squat frequently and climb stairs / ladders occasionally
- Ability to reach above shoulder level frequently
- Ability to repetitively grasp, push, pull, perform data entry, and manipulate fine objects with hands
- Ability to repetitively operate right-side foot controls
- Ability to withstand exposure to moving machinery marked changes in temperature or humidity, and dust, fumes, and gases.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Mechanically inclined and willing to work a threading machine and power tools.
