About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night - 4x10 - 21 : 00 - 07 : 30 Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of one year, full-time equivalent, clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
Previous CT experience is preferred. License : ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State license as a Radiographer is required.
Certifications : Advanced certification in CT is required within 18 months of hire / transfer. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
Must-Have : - Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.- 1-2 years of college / university coursework and / or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
Job Description : Operate computed tomography (CT) and related equipment under the direction of a radiologist.- Perform CT studies following specific guidelines, prescribed protocols, and appropriate radiation protection measures.
- Review images and archive them with associated patient data.- Interact with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.- Schedule : 3rd shift, 0.875 FTE, Monday through Sunday, 9 pm - 7 am.- Skills required : Radiographer, ARRT Registered, Imaging, Radiology, Computed Tomography.
