(Remote) Jr. Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities :
- Government Contract Support :
- Assist in the analysis of government contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and financial performance.
- Grant Management :
- Work closely with teams to understand grant requirements and objectives.
- Support the preparation and submission of grant applications.
- Data Analysis :
- Analyze and interpret data related to government contracts and grant projects.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Financial Tracking :
- Track and report financial data, including project expenses and grant utilization.
- Assist in budget forecasting and variance analysis.
- Documentation :
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of government contracts and grant-related activities.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication :
- Communicate regularly with project teams, government agencies, and grant providers.
- Address inquiries and provide timely updates on project status.
- Compliance :
- Ensure adherence to government regulations, contract requirements, and grant guidelines.
- Assist in preparing for audits and compliance reviews.
- Process Improvement :
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in contract and grant management.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience as a Junior Business Analyst, in a government contracting or grant-focused environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Familiarity with government contracting regulations and grant management processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
