PetroChoice, a leading distributor of lubricants, oils, fluids, and greases is currently recruiting for Territory Sales Managers in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas due to growth.

In fact, we distribute and offer our services from more than 50 locations in 32 states every day and include top brands of oils, greases, and other lubricants.

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the acquisition of new accounts and the maintaining of relationships with existing customers.

This individual is expected to manage the territory by providing services and solutions to customers, achieving sales volumes and profitability goals, and implementing corporate strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time.

All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain and grow existing customer business by developing strong relationships, understanding their evolving needs, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Regularly engage with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Secure and acquire new business accounts
  • Identify leads through personal territory knowledge and maintain them in Salesforce CRM.
  • Generate and maintain a contact list for effective referrals and introductions.
  • Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline and handle credit applications, account setup, quotes, and customer files.
  • Manage territory to maximize returns and meet or exceed sales budgets.
  • Actively participate in all company marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Maximize territory returns while understanding company profitability.
  • Implement company-endorsed sales processes and utilize provided lists of prospective customers.
  • Manage customer relations, advocating for their needs while balancing company interests.
  • Provide valuable solutions to customers, establishing credibility as a resource.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues related to deliveries, billing, and collections.
  • Perform necessary administrative tasks, including documenting critical customer information in CRM and responding to internal inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering and 2 years of experience in an outside sales position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to write proposals and technical documents that conform to prescribed style and format.

MATH ABILITY :

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume;

and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY :

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read and understand journal entries and the flow of information through a general ledger.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

COMPUTER SKILLS :

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

Salesforce is preferred.
