SUMMARY OF POSITION :

Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, provides a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for, and responds to the needs of patients, employees, visitors and other customers of the inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

• High School degree or equivalent required
• Six (6) months of experience required
• Milieu management / de-escalation training within six (6) months of hire date

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S) :

Preferred field of experience : Behavioral health, criminal justice, mental health, social sciences
