JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Anti-Trafficking provides direct oversight for the anti-trafficking team supervisors, as well as indirect to the team staff members.

The Director ensures that trauma-competent programs, training, presentations, and services are in place to create a comprehensive system of care for commercially sexually exploited (CSE) and trafficked children and young adults.

The role acts as a community liaison for the Anti-Trafficking department, representing OMC at events, presentations, and other venues, as assigned.

Flexibility, willingness and ability to travel some overnights, as well as day trips is necessary. This position supervises the teams based in NC and TN.

Candidates must live in the Memphis, TN or Raleigh-Durham, NC, areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • Provides direct oversight to Anti-trafficking teams in their area.
  • Assist the Executive Director of Anti-Trafficking in obtaining and maintaining contracts / funding sources for the anti-trafficking program.
  • Ensure all anti-trafficking team programs in assigned area consistently operate at maximum capacity.
  • Develop program objectives and specific goals for assigned service area.
  • Ensure delivery of quality, Christian services in all programs, directly and by delegation.
  • Oversee financial and client databases are maintained accurately.
  • Confirm all mobile team programs operate in accordance with OMC, COA contract, and VOCA standards.
  • Responsible, directly or by delegation, for the hiring, employment, supervision, training, evaluation, and discharge of all personnel within the program service area, in keeping with agency policies and procedures.
  • Lead team supervisors to develop and oversee an annual operating budget, responsible for the implementation and monitoring, and following prescribed fiscal guidelines.
  • Lead the teams in building relationships with state and other government leaders and agencies regarding licensing, purchase of service contracts, etc.
  • Ensure a trauma-competent culture of grace, respect, and boundaries is present with mobile teams
  • Lead team supervisors to help develop and implement trainings and awareness presentations, for both internal and external use
  • Oversee contract deliverables and ensure compliance with OMC standards, as well as contract expectations and obligations.
  • Guide team supervisors in completion of required monthly and quarterly reporting, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Other duties as assigned based on programmatic needs

ESSENTIAL SUPERVISORY DUTIES

Provide direct and indirect supervision of all supervisors and staff members within the program area(s). This includes hiring, day-to-day leadership, coaching, performance management, and advising.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience supervising direct care providers for sex trafficking victims.
  • Experience overseeing program operations for human service provider.
  • Experience building relationships and managing community relations within the anti-trafficking, child protection services, related government entities, or non-profit

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in social services, human services, or equivalent

The employee is required to walk from place to place, as well as reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

This job requires the ability to work in stressful conditions and remain focused for extended periods of time. Ability to lift to 30 pounds (boxes, documents, and equipment).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment describes the conditions that an employee may encounter when performing their job duties, including but not limited to, the essential functions of the position.

This role will work primarily in an office environment. However, events and speaking engagements will occur in a variety of conditions, including inside and outside in various seasons and temperatures.

Day and overnight travel is also required.
