KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities :
- Develop tools and execute process mapping, visualization, and data analysis activities
- Lead walkthroughs, document current and future state of financial management functions, execute change management efforts related to finance transformation, support the development of financial strategies, and create and execute training materials
- Understand, document and review the identification of key stakeholders, financial organization design and operations, process workflows and roles & responsibilities
- Review findings, perform root-cause analysis, develop corrective actions, link like-kind issues, create roadmaps, identify dependencies and risks
- Analyze financial requests, prepare responses and documentation, support walkthroughs, including communication with various stakeholders
- Research, interpret, and review the impact of Federal standards, policies, and regulations on financial operations
Qualifications :
- A minimum of three years of Federal Financial Management experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university; CPA, CGFM, or CDFM certification preferred
- Experience in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements for U.S. Federal government entities; working knowledge of the USSGL preferred
- Experience with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMB
- Experience analyzing financial and systems processes and controls
- Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
- Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance
