Field Service Business Associate – Estimation & Coordination

This is Direct Hire position will operate onsite in Omaha, NE

Pay Range : $60K - $75K annually The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Are you a skilled tradesperson ready to transition from the field to the office? Do you have experience in estimating service jobs and enjoy coordinating projects behind the scenes? If so, Akkodis is current seeking a Field Service Business Associate for a DIRECT HIRE position with one of the world's leading suppliers of intelligent energy supply and data management systems for moving machinery.

This role is perfect for someone with a construction, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical background who’s ready to leverage their hands-on experience in a professional office setting.

What You’ll Do :

  • Estimate small service jobs and follow up with customers on quotes and orders
  • Coordinate with outside sales and field service technicians
  • Process purchase orders, job sheets, and invoices
  • Manage short-term service projects from start to finish
  • Communicate with customers and subcontractors about job logistics and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate records and support business development efforts

What You Bring :

  • Trade experience (construction, general contracting, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred or 2 year trade degree / or equivalent combination of

    • education and experience.

  • Requires 3-5 years of experience
  • Estimating or bidding experience in service or repair work
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to type 50 WPM with 90% accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a technical product environment
  • A collaborative mindset and attention to detail
