$18.70 - $27.23 an hour - Per Diem, Days. Various shifts and hours a week.
Includes Per Diem Differential. +$2.50 for evening and weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Patient Care Associate / Certified Nursing Assistant, where you will serve as a dedicated patient caregiver.
Within our care delivery system, the PCA / CNA performs duties that assist the caregivers and promotes effective departmental functioning.
Direct patient care functions are under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CNA certification or equivalent certification is preferred. Equivalent certifications include : EMT, MA, Military Medic or completion of 1st year of nursing core classes (not prerequisites for nursing school).
- BLS certification required within conditional period.
Responsibilities
- Answers patient call lights and performs appropriate follow-up in a timely manner.
- Performs morning and evening ADLs (oral care, bathing, etc.).
- Assists staff with repositioning and patient mobility.
- Independently mobilizes patients.
- Empties foley catheters, urinals, bedpans, commodes, urine hats and drains
- Assists in preparation of patient rooms and admission and transfers.
- Follows patient fluid restrictions and calorie count orders as delegated by nurse.
- Assists staff with repositioning and patient mobility
- Assures patients receive correct meal selections in accordance with provider orders
