Position Overview : We are looking for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive therapy services to individuals in the Ann Arbor community.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to improving communication and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, cognition, and swallowing function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and caregivers, to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Valid Michigan state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment
