Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join a vibrant educational team in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA.
This full-time position is available for the entire school year, providing an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on students physical health and well-being in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical therapy needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and track progress to ensure optimal outes.
- Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, school nurses, and counselors, to support students physical and educational goals.
- Educate and support students and their families about physical therapy techniques and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy services and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and acmodations.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for improving students quality of life and supporting their academic success.
