Neurosurgical or Neurology experience is highly preferred License : New York State license required Certifications : Acute Care NP certified or NCCPA certified Must-Have : Arterial / Main Line Placement experience Job Description : Exciting opportunity to work in the Neuromedical ICU- Provide direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures and medical neurology patients- Responsibilities include admission work-ups and daily management, such as complex ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and patient transfer / discharge- Involved in precepting students and supporting unit-based nurses- Applicants must be motivated, flexible, independent, and possess excellent clinical skills in critical care- Participate in the education of learners, including students and new employees, using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing, and skill trainingThis opportunity offers a dynamic work environment for the right candidate eager to enhance their skills in a challenging ICU setting.
