Job Summary :
This position is responsible for taking over an extensive simulation platform that simulates the behaviour of a display over its lifetime.
The model is developed in C / C++ and MATLAB and is used to evaluate the performance of various image enhancement and compression algorithms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Take ownership of an extensive simulation platform that models the behaviour of a display over its lifetime, developed in C / C++ and MATLAB.
- Understand and implement algorithms used in displays to compensate for impairments and enhance image quality.
- Work with different compression algorithms used in the display industry.
- Maintain and enhance the simulation platform, perform simulations, and optimize code to reduce execution time.
- Collaborate with compression and RTL teams to improve algorithm quality and validate through simulation.
- Analyse and interpret simulation results, reporting findings to the team.
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in image processing algorithm development.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with C++ and MATLAB.
- Experience with compression algorithms is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (MS is preferred).
