Overview
Senior Graphic Designer role at NYC Campaign Finance Board. This position reports to the Senior Art Director within the Marketing and Digital Communications Unit and involves working on a range of projects to build audience engagement across social channels and websites. The ideal candidate is a creative professional with strong technical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. A portfolio of past work is required for all applications.
Base pay range
$90,000.00 / yr - $100,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Proposing and developing ideas to boost engagement on social channels and interactivity on the agency’s websites.
- Sharing creative ideas and collaborating with internal Design and Content teams, and external vendors.
- Creating animations and motion graphics for organic social media and email blasts.
- Producing and scaling digital assets for multimedia ad campaigns and lead generation marketing.
- Illustrating infographics and other data visuals for reports, presentations, and social posts.
- Providing design and QA support for print and digital multilingual assets.
- Ensuring cohesive execution and alignment with project objectives through collaboration with team members.
- Researching and staying up-to-date on industry trends and techniques.

Expert-level knowledge and experience with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.Ability to remain accurate, flexible, and calm while managing a high volume of work.Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of languages other than English (preferred but not required).Excellent management skills.Knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere and Figma.Knowledge of social media trends.Demonstrated interest in good government advocacy, public service, and money in politics.Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in graphic design or a closely related field and one year of related experience; or a four-year high school diploma with five years of related experience; or education / experience equivalent to these requirements.
