Primary Care and Cardiology office in Kearny Mesa (15 and Aero Drive / Murphy Canyon) area currently seeking full-time Certified Medical Assistant that enjoys a fast-paced, patient-centered atmosphere.
Successful candidate will have responsibilities including : rooming, history, vitals, assisting providers during exams / procedures, phlebotomy, injections, patient phone calls, insurance authorizations, maintain and clean equipment and completion of paperwork for patients / physicians.
This office has extended hours, M-F 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, Sat 9 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM. We are currently hiring for the closing shift, 10 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM.
- Requirements include : High School Diploma or G.E.D.; certificate in Medical Assisting from an accredited school; Medical Assistant National Certification (NHA, AAMA, NCCT, etc);
- minimum 1 year back office experience, bilingual preferred but not required; must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
computer experience including email, Word documents, electronic medical records required; must be able to work within a team with focus on patient satisfaction.
