Material Handler

Hours : Monday through Thursday 4 : 00p-2 : 30a

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1st SHIFT

Pay : $19.50

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler for a metal manufacturing facility in Manitowoc. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing and moving raw materials, parts, and finished products within the production area.

Key Responsibilities :

Transport raw materials, metal components, and finished products throughout the manufacturing facility, ensuring timely availability for production.

Track and maintain accurate inventory levels, assist in inventory counting, and ensure materials are stored properly to prevent damage.

Inspect incoming materials for defects or damage, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. Ensure materials meet quality standards before they are used in production.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery to move materials around the production floor safely.

Work closely with the production team to ensure materials are delivered on time and in the right quantities to meet production schedules.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in material handling.

Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
