About the Team
This position is located in the Portland, Oregon area.
The ZF customer approach is organized through customer teams. This position is within the Key Account Manager ( KAM ) team, responsible for managing all account activities within the assigned domain & product lines ( PL ) to support existing business and develop and define / execute a strategy to capture future business potential.
What You Can Look Forward to as an OE Account Manager
- Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue increase.
- Represents Voice of Customer of domain / customer related topics
- Owns and executes customer strategy within the assigned domain / customer
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Main sales contact for PjM and PL for assigned domain / customer
- Support short- and long-term planning (SP / OP) for assigned domain / customer within aligned strategy
- Provide input for market analysis and non-technical competition analysis for assigned domain / customer
- Customer Scorecard Management
- Coordinate development of customer quotations / proposals
Your Profile as an OE Account Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- 6+ years of progressive experience in OE sales or a related field
- Strong sales and commercial leadership for assigned domain
- High level of authority with strong negotiation skills
- Engineering or commercial background
- Understanding of automotive business, market trends, innovation
- Understanding of business, financials, market
- Technical experience in product group and solid understanding of system- / function-approach of ZF (Cross-BU, leveraging deal rationale)
