Job Summary : Marquette General Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 12-hour night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across various units, including ICU, ER, and general medical floors. This role requires adaptability, clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians

Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly

Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment

Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Document all treatments, assessments, and patient interactions accurately

Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management

Qualifications :

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy

Current RRT or CRT credential from NBRC

Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist license

Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
