Our client has a direct hire need for a accountant to join their team that is seeking a talent that has construction / development accounting background experience.
This position is 100% on site located in the Dilworth area. There is room for potential growth in the near future within a years time frame.

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly loan draws for designated projects
- Create, maintain, and update vendor profiles, contracts, and certificate of insurance including gathering of W9's
- Collect, review, code, and obtain approvals for project and / or corporate expenses
and contractor pay applications
- Process weekly accounts payable
- Keep corporate FedEx and AmEx accounts current and reconciled
- Collect on past due balances
- Monitor cash balances for designated projects; prepare cash wiring and transfer
- requests for processing by others; reconciliations for designated bank accounts;
assist with positive pay uploads
Prepare, enter and file journal entries to record cash and loan transactions,
allocations, accruals, etc.
Review general ledgers for designated projects / entities monthly; prepare any
necessary monthly reporting for joint venture partners or lenders
Assist coworkers with projects and / or tasks as needed
MRI and Procure knowledge beneficial
Skills
- Excel (3 years of experience is required)
