Position Summary :
We are currently seeking an individual with strong mathematical skills looking to learn and grow with our company! As an Order Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for calculating glass dimensions, verifying, placing, and following up glass orders.
Additional functions will include :
- Communicating and following up with other departments to resolve order discrepancies.
- Coordinating delivery with Customer Service and Installation as well as with vendors as needed.
- Setting and notating due dates for glass orders.
- Ensuring accuracy of all glass orders.
- Creating Purchase Orders for materials from outside vendors.
- Specialty projects as assigned.
Position Requirements :
- Strong knowledge in fractional mathematics including, but not limited to, addition / subtraction of fractions down to the 1 / 16
- Ability to read a protractor and have a general knowledge of angles and how they work
- High level of professionalism, dependability, and trustworthiness
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- General knowledge of Quickbooks and SAP is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized and ability to multi-task
- Ability to perform effectively and positively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
