About The Position
Job Title : Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist Job Specialty : Occupational Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (09 : 00 - 17 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 72 hours per 2 weeks Experience : Prefer 1 year of inpatient rehab experience;
first timers accepted License : Alaska Occupational Therapist License (pending license accepted) Certifications : BLS, NBCOT Must-Have : Prefer experience in inpatient rehab setting Job Description : Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
- Treat patients with conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and amputations.
- Chart using Epic system.- Flexible to work weekends.- Must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Complete non-billable modules as part of orientation (average 16 hours).- Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby if needed.
- Adhere to facility requirements for Hepatitis B vaccination.- Attend a mandatory 40-hour orientation.- Provide supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years.
- Please arrange your own housing as options may be limited. Additional Information : Free scrub choice or business casual attire.
- COVID-19 vaccination not required; Flu vaccine status unknown.- Compliance with all facility rules and requirements.
