Parks Chevrolet Huntersville has an immediate opening for an experienced Diesel Technician / Mechanic. Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standardsDiagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed partsExamine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or requiredNotify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promisedDocument work performedRoad-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technicianKeep abreast of factory technical bulletinsEnsure that customer vehicles are kept cleanKeep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all timesUnderstand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastesMust follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisorQualifications / Requirements Diesel Technician :
Diesel Technician experience requiredGM Certification is preferred but not required, career pathing opportunityAbility to read and comprehend instructions and informationASE certification is preferredProven Fixed Right Survey ScoresValid driver's license and good driving recordPlease upload your resume.
