The ideal candidate will have experience operating MRI machines efficiently, ensuring patient comfort before and during scanning procedures, and coordinating with physicians for timely results. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods is essential. Responsibilities Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort. Insert IVs when necessary for tests. Document all procedures while ensuring patient confidentiality. Perform patient care tasks as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist. BLS certification (American Heart Association only). Must have experience with GE scanners. New York State License is required. Schedule This position requires availability on Friday and Sunday from 11 AM to 11 : 30 PM, with on-call and callback duties as needed based on unit demands.
