Title : Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location : Riverside, CA County

Work Hours : Monday through Friday, 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM, with occasional overtime

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues in the field to ensure minimal downtime, focusing on both warranty and non-warranty repairs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform mechanical repairs on a range of on- and off-road construction equipment, including Foreman trucks, excavators, wheel loaders, and backhoes.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as scheduled services and safety inspections.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to improve methods and contribute to overall project success.

Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or GED preferred; technical school education is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
  • Proficiency in various mechanical tasks, including welding, hydraulic, and engine repairs.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in diverse weather conditions.
  • Strong focus on safety and knowledge of occupational hazards in the trade.
