Responsibilities for Dishwashing and Cleaning :
Efficiently clean all dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils.
Ensure all items are sanitized according to health and safety standards.
Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring it functions properly.
Maintaining Kitchen Hygiene :
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, and floors.
Properly dispose of garbage and ensure trash bins are emptied regularly.
Assist with deep cleaning tasks as required, including cleaning ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment.
Organizing and Storing :
Organize and store clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their proper places.
Ensure all kitchen and storage areas are clean, tidy, and well-organized.
Assisting Kitchen Staff :
Provide assistance to cooks and kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak hours.
Ensure the kitchen is stocked with clean dishes and utensils at all times.
Maintaining Supplies :
Monitor and replenish dishwashing supplies, such as soap, sanitizer, and cleaning tools.
Inform the kitchen manager when supplies are running low.
Following Health and Safety Regulations :
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the kitchen manager immediately.
Team Collaboration :
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Customer Service :
Occasionally interact with customers when returning dishes or utensils, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Experience :
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Skills :
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
