Salary : $60K-$70K / yearly
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinicans to serve the Students in Baltimore City / County Middle and High Schools.
This is a 40 hour a week, on-site position. You will be be required to bill no less than 25 billable hours weekly. Bilingual a plus!
SPECIFIC ROLES OF THE MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST INCLUDE :
- Psychotherapy to individuals & Families
- Providing direct therapeutic counseling services to clients
- Collaborating with our social services team to deliver the best possible comprehensive care
- Establishing and maintaining empowering, trusting relationships with youth, adults and their families through individual, family, and group psychotherapy
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Therapist will be responsible for providing :
- Provides direct mental health services to include intake / diagnostic assessment, individual, family and group therapy,and crisis intervention as needed.
- Completes individualized treatment plan, treatment plan updates as well as timely documentation to support services rendered.
- Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings.
- Provides consultation and training for school staff regarding mental health issues of students (as required).
- Participates in the collection of mental health outcomes data to be used for monitoring the overall performance and effectiveness of services provided.
- Maintain 70% direct service requirement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications : Masters degree in social work, counseling or psychology from an accredited college or university and current license to practice (LGSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC) in Maryland and at least one year experience in the mental health field.
Experience providing therapeutic services to children and families preferred. At least one year post-graduate experience preferred.
$35-45 per session, depending relevant on experience.
