A company is looking for a Government Relations Director.
Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships with legislators and regulators in the designated geographic territory
Review and monitor state legislation and proposed regulations, providing feedback and drafting necessary documentation
Coordinate with internal business units and external clients to address legislative and regulatory issues
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; Juris doctorate or related graduate degree preferred
5 years of experience in Government Relations required
Experience in Pharmacy, Insurance, or Health Policy required
Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and SharePoint required
Commitment to compliance program objectives and respectful interaction with colleagues
