Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center *is seeking BC / BE, *Physician Assistants *for *Interventional Pain Management* positions in Bangor, Maine.
Opportunity : As a provider within the Interventional Pain Management Clinic, you will play an integral role in helping to alleviate the debilitating pain our patients live with day-in and day-out, often preventing them from performing their activities of daily living.
It is also extremely rewarding to see our patients gain an improved quality of life and increased functionality without the use of opioids.
Job duties, will include but are not limited to : * Following our patients to identify their response to procedures and determine an appropriate continued plan of care and medication management planning.
Consenting patients for procedures they are going to have.* Assisting with triaging patient referrals.* Rounding on inpatients who have had pump implants for cancer pain.
Job Requirements* Candidates must be certified and hold a current Maine license or be immediately eligible for the same.* Experience in Primary Care or Family Medicine preferred* Understanding of Interventional Pain Management Procedures* Must be a team player and be willing to put the needs of the patient first*This is an exciting opportunity to have a profound impact in the lives of your patients, as well as gaining experience in one of the most sought after positions for advanced practice providers in the country.
